PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Garuda Indonesia is the flag carrier of Indonesia and serves as a full service airline. Operating 79 aircrafts and serves 44 domestic and 24 international destinations including Asia (Regional, Middle East, China, Japan), Australia and Europe (Amsterdam) in August 2012. As its concern for safety, Garuda Indonesia has received IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) which proves that the airline has fulfilled global best practice in safety and security procedures. In its ongoing efforts to improve its service, Garuda Indonesia has launched its new service called "Garuda Indonesia Experience" which offers a new concept of services that reflects the best in Indonesian Hospitality at all customer touch points. To support new services, all new aircraft are fitted with Garuda Indonesia’s new signature interior, with individual touch-screen LCD TVs throughout Executive and Economy classes with Audio Video on Demand (AVoD) entertainment systems offering many features films and audio tracks. Garuda Indonesia has awarded by Skytrax as a "Four Star Airline" in 2010, "The World’s Most Improved Airline" in 2010, and in July 2012 awarded as "Best Regional Airline in Asia" and "World’s Best Regional Airline". Center for Asia Aviation (CAPA), based in Sydney, also awarded Garuda Indonesia as "Airline Turnaround of the Year" in 2010. Roy Morgan, indepedent international research in Australia, awarded Garuda Indonesia as "The Best International Airline" in early 2012. After implementing the 2006-2010 turnaround programs which in general have successfully catapulted the company from the brink of failure to success, Garuda Indonesia will continue with an aggressive 5-year expansion program known as the ‘Quantum Leap’ which drive the company growing much bigger with wider network and better service quality. The company’s major business hub is Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta, with its leisure hub at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali. To improve flight capacity and frequency to eastern Indonesia, Garuda Indonesia opened a third hub at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, Makassar, South Sulawesi. Garuda Indonesia Group consists of Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and Subsidiaries. The SBUs are Garuda Cargo, and Garuda Medical Center. The subsidiaries are PT Citilink Indonesia as Low Cost Carrier (LCC); PT Aerowisata (hotel, ground transportation, travel agent and catering); PT Abacus Distribution Systems Indonesia (Global Distribution System); PT Aero System Indonesia/Asyst (Transportation IT provider) and PT Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF AeroAsia) (Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul). In February 2011, Garuda Indonesia has become a Public Company and listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Annual Report 2011 – "Embarking into a New Dimension" The Indonesian languange format published in April 27, 2012 in the purpose of Annual General Meeting (AGM) of The Shareholders The bilingual format (Indonesian & English) format published in June 27, 2012. The Garuda Indonesia 2011 Annual Report is the first Annual Report as a Public Company. It was developed as continuous year of successful phase 2006-2010 corporate transformation program. The report is also the first year of next phase along a growth strategy dubbed "Quantum Leap 2011-2015". As the Company's success in becoming Public Company by Initial Public Offering (IPO) in 2011, the stakeholders now including potential investors, domestic, regional and global analysts, and the capital market community. When the report shown at the first in Annual General Meeting (AGM) last April, the shareholders, analysts, investors gave a big appreciation. Since this is the first Annual Report as Public Company, we make something different than before as follow : 1. Theme : "Embarking into a New Dimension". Embarking is an airline term. New Dimension means Garuda Indonesia is now a public company. we have to comply the regulation and more transparant. 2. The expanding cover (not only 1 page cover) shows that 2011 is the first year of aggresive 5 year program named "Quantum Leap". The covers indicate that this is big, expansive program. 3. The picture in the cover is Raja Ampat, the best maritime tourism in the world. we consisten to put Indonesia beautiful scenery as cover since year 2009 because we new service concept the "Garuda Indonesia Experience" which show the best of Indonesia with Indonesia hospitality in every sense. 4. The report should be useful for analyst and investor. we put a suplemen inside as "7-Driver to Achieve Quantum Leap". 5. The birds in the cover shows the big development of the company (previously just 1 bird). 6. The story inside show the activities of Garuda personnel form 00.30 hour to 24.00 hour worldwide. It's service business all the way, all the time. 7. The report shows testimony form customer and stock analyst. The content is very comprehensive, covering all aspects of the company with beautiful pictures and lay-out.
